Mountain Bike Trails in Crowsnest Pass

Trail Map Crowsnest PassThere are a whole lot more trails out there but these are the ones we have documented. Come on down to Crowsnest Pass and ask the local riders what else is out there. Ride at your own risk. Inspect all man-made technical features before riding. UROC assumes no responsibility for maintaining these trails.

We do not document trails located on private land unless prior land use permission has been obtained. Access to some of the biking trails use roads and off highway vehicle trails which are described on the following maps:
  1. South of Highway 3: Castle Special Management Area map available from Alberta Sustainable Resource Development (ASRD) at 11901 19th Ave. Blairmore, and Online Here
  2. North of Highway 3: Quad Squad C5 Area Map
Both of these maps show numbered “Junction Points” which are signed on the trails. Our trail descriptions and maps reference these junction points using “JPxx” notations. Other waypoints used in the our descriptions and GPS file are designated by a flag symbol with single or two digit number. Generally blue flags are used on off-highway vehicle trails and red flags on singletrack. Send us your suggestions and comments to help us improve these trail descriptions. info@uroc.ca

Ride Crowsnest IMBA Trail System An area trails master plan has been developed by IMBA on behalf of Crowsnest Pass Community Futures. The proposed trail network identifies a formal network of approximately 145 km of singletrack trails. Work was started on the trail system during the summer 2010 (Ski Hill trail) and the community is preparing to extend the system on the Ski Hill during summer 2011. The master plan is available online at www.ridecrowsnest.com. If you are able to help by attending one of our volunteer sessions, please contact .
